A Micro Wedding on a Hawaiian Ranch

Erica and Karl were married in April surrounded by their closest family and friends. They wanted vibrant colors, easy local-style food, delicious tropical drinks, and a relaxed feeling of hanging out for a long weekend. Puakea Ranch delivered! With housing for at least a dozen of their guests, two lava-rock pools, and room to roam, this was the perfect spot to stage their 50-person wedding.

From the moving ceremony crafted by officiant Leia Lawrence (with custom oli written for the couple), to the rain that had us scrambling for a last-minute tent and an Etsy witch - it worked, by the way, and the rain held off for all but a ten minute sprinkle - this heartfelt day was one for the books.

And after this day, Midwesterners have my heart - I have never met a more helpful, kind group of people! Congratulations to the happy couple.
